After my time at 343 Industries came to a close, I set my sights on another big green space marine IP and made my way over to id Software to work on Doom: the Dark Ages. From the heights of the Maykrs to the depths of hell, I have had the absolute pleasure of building out some of the most insane spaces and props with this team.
Before moving to id Software, I had the utmost privilege of working with the skilled team at 343 Industries to help create the environments for Halo Infinite. My responsibilities included bringing proxy assets through the mid-poly pipeline and into a polished state, integrating and worldbuilding those assets within our proprietary Slipspace engine, and (on occasion) mask painting those assets via a 3 UV set workflow.
Before joining the team at 343 as an Associate artist, I was given the opportunity to participate in AAA game development in a more lax capacity with an emphasis on mentorship and acquiring hands-on industry experience.
For eight months across the latter half of 2018 and early 2019, I had the privilege of contributing to Iron Man VR as an Environment Art Intern alongside the phenomenal team at Camouflaj LLC.
