Here are a few custom interiors and freighter hulls I created or helped finalize for Halo Infinite's open world.
The interiors here were a blast to put together. They were my favorite combination of tasking, requiring both custom kit creation and unique worldbuilding. I would find many of the lessons learned here would become instrumental when moving onto Doom: The Dark Ages.
Creating the freighter exteriors was a particularly challenging task considering these ship hulls are massive compared to the player. As such, we required special materials intended for a higher texel density while building out geometry that would not overextend our polygon budget.
I was fully responsible for taking the hull nearest the player path from proxy to final surfacing and polish. Additionally, I was tasked with finalizing the trimsheet mapping and surfacing for the hull just adjacent to that one.
